Planet Pluto Status As Determined by New Horizons

http://smartphonesmedia.blogspot.com/
Smartphones Media Update- New Horizons unmanned spacecraft NASA since January 2015 and has begun to examine Pluto. On 14 July, this plane will be at the closest distance to Pluto.

New Horizons is currently in phase closest to Pluto, he would take pictures and send them to scientists on Earth.
The plane of the piano was expected to reveal the rings around Pluto, the oceans 'secrets' under the surface of Pluto, or the number of months that Pluto could be increased.

Later, the scientific data obtained by New Horizons can reliably provide a great opportunity to re-explain whether Pluto could be considered as a planet or not.

"If it looks like a duck, swim like a duck, making a sound like a duck, chances are it is a duck," quipped the leadership of the New Horizons mission investigator, Alan Stern.

It is his view on how the behavior of planets in this galaxy. Citing reports Popular Science, Stern indirectly assume Pluto like planet in general because it has the same properties and characteristics as other planets in the solar system.

New Horizons has so far been taking measurements of particles and dust from a distance of 217 million kilometers, as well as photographing the surface of Pluto.

Does not meet the requirements' into a planet?

Pluto itself was discovered by astronomer Clyde Tombaugh at the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona, USA, on February 18, 1930. Since then, the world community agreed that the solar system is filled by nine planets.

Then came the International Astronomical Union (IAU), the group that gave the name to the planets. In 2006, they gave some classification of celestial bodies which can be categorized as a planet. This group then decided Pluto is not a planet.

They gave a 'requirement' that consists of:
1. Being in orbit around the Sun,
2. Have enough mass boost the power of gravity to overcome hard so that it can receive a hydrostatic balance,
3. Have a clean environment around its orbit.

Of the three conditions, IAU claims Pluto is not 'escape' the fulfillment of a planetary point number three.

Related to this, Stern questioned the explanation of "clean environment". IAU intends to explain that the power of gravity planet big enough to sweep all the objects in the surrounding region.
When in fact, every planet in the solar system has a smaller object around it and "not clean". From here, Stern considers IAU theory was limited to a joke.

"If so, they put aside Jupiter Trojan asteroid that has in the vicinity. There is also crossed by Neptune that orbit Pluto. The idea was ridiculous," said Stern.

NASA is likely to remain will wait observations New Horizons in July tomorrow for the sake of the acquisition of data on Pluto.
New Horizons was launched by NASA in January 2006. He has been exploring space for 1,873 days or approximately nine years.

New Horizons exploring space in a state of half asleep for the past six years. NASA woke him twice a year to check instruments and practice maneuvers that are likely to be carried out as it approaches Pluto.

New Horizons mission is intended to answer fundamental questions about the planet Pluto and explain controversial early life on Earth. New Horizons also given the task of sending photos of Pluto taken in close-up.
